{ fresh flower care tips }

Now that the love filled holiday is over, we want all the lucky gals & guys to keep their flowers as fresh and pristine as long as possible. Here are some fresh flower care tips:

flowers drink the most water the first couple of days, so be sure to keep your container full of fresh water.
if water becomes cloudy, rinse out vase and rinse off stems, refill with luke-warm water and pour half of flower food pouch into water.
be sure to keep flowers AWAY from heater vents, sunny windows, and TV's.
remove and throw away dying flowers, doing so will keep the other flowers in the arrangement fresh.

Ashley and Darcy had a cozy, intimate December wedding. The elements were very organic, rose hips, cranberries, pheasant feathers, and seeded eucalyptus garnished wine colored calla lilies and velvet red ranunculus. This couple has upscale style and their wedding was sublime! We loved working with this stunning duo. Thank Ashley and Darcy for Bloomers be a part of your big day!

{ Roxanne & Roger }

Roxanne and Roger

A true romantic, fairy-tale wedding.

It was so refreshing working with Roxanne and Roger because of their love and appreciation for flowers. Roxanne knew she wanted flowers to adorn every last bit of the couple's classic wedding. The color palette that was chosen consisted of lavender, amethyst, mulberry, and touches of rich ivory. The flowers used were premium blooms such as, dendrobium orchids, peonies, hydrangea, chocolate dahlias, veronica and lisianthus. We really got a true feeling for Roxanne's love of flowers when she was more concerned about flowers being left behind at her reception instead of leaving her reception to catch her honey-moon flight to Italy. Being the wonderful husband that Roger is, he set up a monthly flower arrangement for Roxanne so she can be reminded of the endless beauty of the couple's wedding.

{Bree & Lou }

Bree and Lou had a show stopper June wedding. We used tangerine Mokara orchids and citron green Lady's Slippers. Bree's favorite rose is the cream colored rose, Vendella, so we incorporated it into the tropical vision. The groom's boutonniere was wrapped in Hibiscus roots and accented with curly grape vines. All the elements of Bree and Lou's wedding were so unique and offered a lush, tropical vibe. We absolutely cherished working with Bree and Lou!! One of our favorite ideas that Bree had was to wrap her bouquet and her bridesmaids in giant Ti leaves. Bree also had some amazing personalized bling added to the bridesmaids bouquets. Such an amazing wedding for a wonderful couple.
